Happy 64th Birthday Dad!!

Hello All,

Today would have been my dad's 64th Birthday Today!

So today I'm honoring his memory by posting on here for everyone to share in it with me. My dad was born in 1944 in Huntington, West Virginia to Vernon and Beverly his mom and dad. He met my mom in the 1950's and they married in 1963 on Dec 24th. Times were easy but a bit hard at times too. Especially the Gas shortage back in the 70's. I remember waiting in line with my mom and dad at the pumps. There were many fights and arguments as to who was first in line and all. Dad opened his own computer company by then and that's when things got a lot better for us. We did quite well for ourselves but then mom got sick and passed away in 92' and then my dad developed cancer of the throat and followed her in death in 94'.

My dad was an artist and he used to draw and paint all the time when I was younger. That is how I learned my interest in art and drawing , painting. We used to paint many pictures together and he taught me to see my art visions, They are the images in the paper that you can see that are waiting to come alive by the art you bring to it.

I do miss my dad alot He was and still is a large part of my life then and today. I wish he and my mom both were alive today, I have a feeling they would be proud of me as their daughter and as an artist.

I Love you Dad! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Until Next Time,

Teresa
